Confidence on the Road

For the experienced but sometimes unsure driver!!

You’ve been driving for years, but somehow, the roads seem busier and people are more impatient. For many of us, whilst we know we can drive, road conditions are different from when we passed our test and we often feel vulnerable or unsure in many situations. We may have never been taught how to handle roundabouts, dual carriageways or motorways properly; or we struggle with parking, or negotiating congested traffic or unusual junctions.

You can relax! I’m on your side. “Confidence on the Road” is designed to help people like you. You’ll have the opportunity to polish and build on your existing skills in a non threatening environment, and give you extra confidence in your driving.

There is no test to pass, no examiner, no instructor to get cross. Just an opportunity to get to grips with those issues, and put them right in a friendly and enjoyable way. If you complete the course, you’ll get a certificate to demonstrate your achievement.

The course is made up of 4 sessions, each lasting an hour and a half.

An introduction, acquaintance with the driving tuition vehicle, and then a drive by you so that I can see where I can help.
Town driving, Building on our hazard perception skills and reactions, A short country drive
Parking and manoeuvring. Another short country drive (time permitting)
Motorway and dual carriageway skills.
